Children Welcome at The Lower East Side Shape Note Sing and all Sacred Harp sings

Children are always welcome at The Lower East Side Shape Note Sing. Even though the music is unfamiliar to new singers and we sing about three hours, kids seem to stay interested for a good while. Then they can roam the room and there are always welcoming laps to sit in. We've noticed that when kids get bored they tend to fall asleep on their parents laps or play at the tables and chairs on the periphery. It always good to have crayons and paper handy.

Guest, Carter Hodges, scores some solid laptime with local Sacred Harp pretty girl, Violet Krumbein.
